Chara Spook released


I released a new game; this is my first game using AI animations. Because of the weird restrictions that prevent adult games from being indexed on itch.io if they sell something, I’m selling the premium code on another page. My previous game, Chara Talent Agency, received almost no exposure and sold very poorly due to those payment processor issues. I hope selling the premium code this way will mitigate the problem.

I finished the game and unlocked everything. It’s definitely a step up in animation quality, but overall the experience feels like a mixed bag.

The art is incredible—Aqua’s sex scene looks amazing(dat ass), and Fern’s defeat scene genuinely got me excited. The core concept is fun, though it does get repetitive. The biggest issue is that the game feels unfinished and lacks the depth and amount of content your previous titles offered. I think each character’s sex scenes would have benefited from 3–4 animations—for example, a sexy intro, a first-time scene, and a more intense or aggressive final scene. As it stands, it feels like each girl only has 2–3 “mini” scenes for foreplay and maybe two full scenes, which makes the overall content feel limited. I wanted more, but there was no more to get. 

Honestly, having fewer girls but with 3–4 times the number of scenes each would have been more satisfying and you could have made an actual story. Using non-animated art could also have helped fill the gap; your earlier games had 20+ scenes per character, which gave them a lot of value, this game almost felt like a trial despite there being stuff there. I also noticed numerous typos, come used vs cum stands out.

The concept itself, while enjoyable, probably shouldn’t be revisited in the same way. It becomes repetitive quickly—after the second or third girl, I already had the strategy figured out and could clear most content in 5–10 minutes per character. If the game had 20 girls like your older titles, the repetitiveness would have been a real problem and I would have likely cheat. The old games had value as you could create scenarios and play around them, such as limited chara runs in chara mansion or limited power ups in chara dungeon(bomb is op). 

A trap-dungeon style structure might have worked better here for a spooky theme, using traps to generate additional art or AI-style images to expand the content. Maybe you earned more steps as a power up and greater resistance as a seperate field... something like that. Even something simple—like a girl tripping and giving an accidental fan-service shot—would add variety. The MC could take a picture and post it online to give those moments more impact and create some depth to the story(if you still had patreon this would be a good place for fans to get sneak peaks and add comments for what people might say online adding another layer).  

Overall, the animation quality is fantastic, but the game needs significantly more content and variety to match the strength of your previous works. I'll still continue to support you but this one was like a solid 4/5 out of 10. If this was a dlsite game it would be one of the 3.5 star ones.  

Again I apologize id this is harsh, but I want to see your games be amazing like the previous ones. This one felt more like an experiment then anything else.

Also no multi pill, would have been cool if after you beat it once, you unlocked hard mode and got a multi pill scene ending in pregnancy to fit both of your previous fetish plays.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a long and honest review; those are always useful. I agree that the game can feel lacking, especially compared to the masterpiece that was Chara Talent Agency. Seeing the power of WAN, I wanted to make a game that used only videos, but I acknowledged in my last blog post that this wasn’t the way; a mix of pictures and videos is best. This game was a whole new experiment, and I feel I succeeded in creating an atmosphere and making good-looking animations. I also think I failed in making a fun rogue-lite where your knowledge of the Evernight gives you a real advantage. Hopefully, I’ll use what I learnt to make a great next game. It should have all you want: More content per girl, multipills, and probably pregnancy.
